Skooter is very proud to announce the utmost in technology for the 21st century: the Skooter blog. For those of you cannot get enough of me, you can read about my daily events. I recently took a trip to Las Vegas. It was a really cool trip. I will be headlining on the Strip. Advance sales beat out Cirque De Soleil, Celine Dion, and Barry Manilow...combined! They say that I will become the biggest draw to Vegas since Liberace! You should hear my rendition of Kitty on the Keys! They have even redesigned some of the slot machines after me...hit 3 Skooters and you win a fortune! Plus unlimited kitty litter for a year!!

Now that I am back, my life has become more mundane but still interesting. Today I got up this morning after running amok on my mother's bed. I love to make her crazy when she is fast asleep. With daylight savings time in effect, it has energized me. I have more time to gaze out the window at the birds and other critters.

As my fur is affected by the number of hours of daylight, I am shedding more. Today I shed 112,312 hairs. 72% of them were white, 27% were tan and 1% was gray (look I ain't no spring chicken anymore!)

There were some interesting treats hanging around on the floor near the stove. Mom made something good last night and I managed to find a couple of scraps which were quite tasty.

Naps were very pleasant. I managed to squeeze a few on the couch, some by the window, one by the computer and another one in Daisy's bed. She gets a bit mad about me taking over the bed, but hey! I'm chief cat in this domicile!

I checked some emails from my fan club. That is always fun, and then I meowed my dictation to my assistant. However, when I used the litter box, I didn't jump out quick enough and almost got my tail stuck in the automatic rake that cleans it out! That was a bit scary but I managed.
